Gus, the miltary option has NEVER been off the table when it comes to N. Korea. Clinton had plans drawn up for a pre-emptive strike in '94.

I have read about the interdiction effort that Bush is considering. I would like to see that followed through with, but ONLY after we present the N. Koreans with OTHER options.

N. Korea IS NOT the old Soviet Union where there were some very deliberative cool heads in the KGB thinking about the LONG term.

In N. Korea there are just a few people at the top that have lived for the last 50 years just hoping to show what a great war machine they've created.
