Time after time, the United States has been removing itself from the affairs and institutions of the rest of the world -- moving away from a more peaceful and prosperous world under the rule of law, and resorting to bombs and killing in a vain attempt to show "strength". But this is not "strength". It is weakness. It is self-defeating and stupid. It does not work, and it drains our strength. It destroys us and our role as principled leaders of the free world. It puts us square in the middle of camp of the uncivilized world.
