still seems low. Why? Because the USD holdings within the foreign reserves should be in rough proportion to USD trade. Since USD trade is over 1/3, I thought USD holdings would be in the neghborhood of $100m. I know your data has US trade but it is the denomination if the trade (USD, Euro, Pound, Yen) and not the country.

I think I'm confused by all these numbers. What is the difference between the $30bn and $275bn?
