Rove made a stragic error, with Bush continually beating the flipper drum in the first debate... he's got to be pissed. Watch for some new, inventive attack. He's not the best for no reason. John

I would guess the plan for the domestic issues debate will be to go on the attack and try to keep Kerry off-balance if not actually flustered. Keeping Kerry responding instead of pressing on the issues would seem to be a good strategy. Stick to themes and try to shape the perception of everything Kerry says. What was interesting is that Rove was so bothered by the debate,that he actually talk to the press himself on Friday, trying to minimize its impact. If the second one does not go well, look for Rove to try and cancel the third one.
