"As for the relationship to Al Qaida: the contacts are there, we just do not know how far they went in cooperation."

Karl Rove has been quoted as saying there are yet to come a couple of October surprises.

As of debate 1, we have a 100% commitment of War in Iraq MISTAKE.

Get Edwards on the record to confirm. War in Iraq MISTAKE.

Then one bends, spindles and mutilates candidates dumb and dumber.

"Your premise is erroneous: as far as anyone knew, we were threatened by Saddam Hussein."

I finished reading B. Woodward's book "Going to War" last week and that's not how he describes it. As Bush gathered intelligence on Iraq and its threat capabilities he refused to see the writing on the wall.... They couldn't find or prove any connection to Al Qaeda, but insisted it must exist. They could'nt find WMDs but insisted it must be there.
