The facts did not come to light for over a year after that. The Yellow Cake forgeries were known to Cheney as soon as Wilson told him. He just kept them under wraps. Blix was told about them and initially believed that the President of the United States was an honest man, but it only took him a week or so with the actual documents to know they were fake. TP Ansar AL Islam was in shambles from the begining. They only started in Sept 2001. Do you remember that month? It was quite a coincidence that a terrorist camp just happened to get setup just as Cheney needed some evidence, however weak, of a tie to Iraq.
