What "sides" are you talking about? If you mean Kerry supporters, Kerry, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and others all agreed that Saddam Hussein had WMD and Kerry and Hillary voted for war.

If we had taken on North Korea, would you be rewording this as:

Why are North Korean children more important than children in Iran, Syria, iraq, Yemen, and in large parts of Africa?

I suspect you would.

This argument is totally specious - we have to take on all dictatorships at once or it can be used ad naseum.
