That dear Tejek is because they do not like the United Nations. They do not like the thought that Americans might be fighting under the U.N. Banner . They do not like the idea that anyone else dictate our foreign policy or have anything to do with our foreign policy EXCEPT when we want them to agree with us about the premptive war in Iraq. Then we try to persuade them that we are right to go in there.. Its too bad. Ultimately, global gov't will be the only way to go if we want to survive as a race. I think it will start out like the EU until the entire world is encompassed. The UN is a pale facsimile but its a start. Bashing the UN does nothing but gain us more enemies. ted
