Right, a lot more people die from drug abuse than terrorism.

This is one of the most ignorant remarks I can imagine. A small nuke in Time Square would kill millions. Is there more than drug abuse? I don't know. But we certainly can't let that possibility evolve.

Its likely that the number of people killed in drug related deaths is higher because of the prohibition. You wouldn't have too many drug dealers shooting each other (and sometimes bystanders) to increase market area or over contract disputes if the drugs were legal.
