We were taking a beating for Iraq before the overthrow of Saddam too.

At least our soldiers were not getting killed. Thanks to Dumbya, things are "better" now. In addition to taking a beating, we are also getting killed!

Kerry has some serious obstacles to overcome ...

.......... He recognized the dangers Saddam posed to the world and the right the United States has to take preemptive action. He also very clearly stated his beliefs.

What you fail to recognize, though, is that Kerry is a confirmed internationalized. Sure, you couldn't get France to take any kind of action even if the threat was in downtown Paris. I understand that. But the international pressure on Saddam in mid-2002 was immense. Bush acted prematurely and, largely, to win the Senate in 2002. That disgusts me. Kerry was hoodwinked.

Kerry is not an idiot. He saw Saddam as a menace. So did I. Back in 1991, I wanted to do him in. But it wasn't sensible.

These issues are complicated. Damn it! But Bush tries to make it seem so simple. What he did was go off half cocked. Now we're in a mess. We simply need a change of leadership. The bottom line is I want a Democrat in office. Not a stupid Republican who wants to run a complicated war on VISA. Bush makes me sick. It also doesn't hurt that he takes pride in being an anti-intellectual. I hate that about him.

I'll tell you, though, buddy, you remain the only conservative spokesman on this thread who even has one speck of ability to engage my mind. Congrats, for what it's worth.
