Yes, it is nonsensical, but that's what they call it.

The underlying premise is that there is a biological cause for the mental effect. In other words, the body controls the mind.

One can look at this premise in several ways. You can assume it is true, in which case biological psychiatry is "correct".

Or, you can look at it in a different way; the assumption that the body controls the mind is bass-ackwards.
