Cheney was cool and sure of himself whereas all Edwards could do was try and extinguish the flames. I'd prefer that Kerry got in since another 4 years of Bush is not too pleasing but I doubt it's going to happen now :( Kerry/Edwards seem too weak on key positions and don't seem to have a firm platform to land this election.

You've got to be kidding, Cheney looked like Richard Nixon did against Kennedy in the 1960 debates.

Cheney looked and sounded like he was at a board meeting. Of course I don't expect a resounding win by Edwards to be declared by many because the expectations that Edwards would win were set too high. All Cheney had to do was show up and not pass out from a heart attack to get some points from some people. But Edwards was clearly the winner, he rocked.
