"Bullshit political correctness like that is nothing more than US academia wishing to create their own morality" All professional bodies that must have a fiduciary relationship with clients have developed ethical standards of conduct. All of this issues from a consideration for rights and freedoms and a respect for the diversity and dignity of people. You are cocksure right now but as you grow up you will appreciate how people are protected by ethical codes of conduct. "The thing about people who have been ridiculed all their life is that they have a good sense of self-deprecating humor." People who have been ridiculed also have a high rate of suicide; so drop the idiotic responses, if you please. The fact that people can survive ridicule and mistreatment does not justify your mocking of ethical codes of professional conduct as "entertaining". It is not "amusing" that they wish to avoid the ridiculing and mocking of their clientelle and to maintain high ethical standards and respect for diversity.
