I don't claim to know what perecentage fall under each category. And I assume the "dead-ender" Baathists was an editorial comment, since we don't know the "end". I think they are heading toward an end. Even if we fail in Iraq I don't think these people would be in charge. I suppose its possible that if there is a 3 way split of Iraq they might be powerful enough to grab the Sunni area, but I'm not sure if they will have enough support even then. Some locals might support them against the US, but wouldn't if the US was out of the picture. Tim
