Again, I think that's usually pretty explainable economic behavior on the parts of most individuals.... As long as the prices of consumables fall, fall, fall (because of China and much of Asia 'exporting deflation' in manufactured goods to the rest of the world), and especially when consumers are getting great financing terms in a depreciating dollar... (so, when they pay it back they are paying in dollars that are worth less), then the consumers are doing a rational thing.

(But --- as for me --- I'm like you: I don't personally need a lot of junk.)
