Its is something to worry about for an typical working person.

From my own experience, it can be done. But I am able to fix cars rather than buy new ones.

It takes at least two to do it, marry them if you want, or at least develop friendship with someone with experience or success in various endeavors.

By far the best way is to invest in real estate - to buy an extra lot or some property that can be developed. Make a 5 year plan for the work.

Owning a house thats paid for is a good start and nearly mandatory
But the problem remaining is that it appreciates but develops no income until sold, in which case where do you live ?
