Debate? Everything is "technical". Maybe even the debates... -g.

This scary mother is either a C or 3. The latter is bearish, the former, bullish. So far markets came down more or less to levels of standard retracements. SPY is at 50%, DIA is weaker, all the way close to 78.6%.

I figure, if this is a C, it ought to bottom pretty soon.

You got me obsessed with this freakin' debate, JJ... Well, here is the "debate" trade... Go home long. If bush screws up again, and the market wants to go down, the impulse is almost done anyway, and there should be a bounce. If the Prez surprises, like Reagan vs. Mondale during the second round, then -- listen to this - the C is done, and Mr. Market might be in the mood to start the races. Eh?...
