My combined cholesterol has never been to 150, so I eat butter sandwiches for lunch.

CB, I obviously don't know your medical history or your age but you should be aware that statins are of little use to women. Some studies show that over the age of 50 reducing cholesterol increases the death rate. Also, current research indicates that there is an increased risk of breast cancer associated with statins.
