"However, the world changed with 9/11.

Suicide Bombers are one way of taking out massive no's of people-----another way is through whatever comes into this country-----without scrutiny. This is a part of homeland security----whether we like it or not."

I have always thought that "Live Free Or Die" was a great state motto, and should be co-opted as our national motto. Instead of "E Pluribus Unum" the back of the quarter should say "Live Free Or Die" (what the heck do we need a dead language on our money for, anyway?).

But now "Live Free Or Die" has morphed into "Live Free Unless We Are Attacked By Terrorists"

You have surrendered your freedom to a bunch of suicidal Arab psychopaths.

Pearl Harbor and the war that followed made the US more free, more progressive and more prosperous. 911 made the US more paranoid, less free, more repressive and facing a financial meltdown.

Odd.

Oh baloney. The world did not change with 911, the government of Bush simply found a way to use 911 to its private advantage. You're much more likely to be killed by someone who knows you very well (around Xmas) than by a militant fundamentalist.

Geez Loueeze, the world 'changes' everyday the sun comes up. So what? The entire point of things like the Constitution is so, when the current population loses its mind temporarily, we can come back to a reasonably solid foundation.

The little country of Sweden lost more in an hour last month than the mighty U.S. did on 9/11.

It's time for the crybabys to wipe their tears and change their diapers.
