If u take the trouble to go back to the 1st reply of mine on this issue, u will notice that I said "in this iinstance, it is possible that the NYT is right". You folks want to extrapolate that to US elections etc, be my guest. Over & out.

Perhaps the article was already written in NYT, and they were waiting for Howard to lose for a more damning article against Bush --- the few more extreme fruitcake fringe of democrats were dancing with glee when Spain's old government lost the election and the new government announced their withdrawal.

But Howard's win - did that change the content of the NYT article? What do you think?
