That was the reasoning behind removing the story from textbooks in schools. It had been taught to every school child until the 1950's.

Then began the process of pulling God out of our educational system. Odd that our country stopped winning wars about the same time.

The eleven holes were Washington's count in a letter to home.

If the story is true, why would you want to aim disrespect toward the source of Washington's armor? More so, why do that when we are at war?
