His self-laudatory statements notwithstanding, foreign nations will LOVE him. He'll give away the store.

So the choice appears to be between the guy who will give away the store (Kerry), and the guy who will bomb the customer (Bush). That's a tough one!

Can you go beyond the generalities please? What exactly will he give away?

When the Bush adminstration says they will stay "on the offensive" in their self-labeleld War on Terror, what do you think they mean?

Have you any idea what their next "offensive" move might be??

What offensive, non-reactionary moves is a next Bush administration going to make that a Kerry administration (supposedly) wouldn't? I don't think they've given any detail (which is pretty strange, but that's campaign soundbytes for you), but what does their "offensive" posture imply that a Kerry administration would (potentially) exclude?

Thanks for your input.

Elroy

Why should the Gitmo detainess be imprisoned without any prisoner or civil rights for more than a year after their capture? Surely any intelligence they had about ongoing terrorist activities has either been learned by us, or is not going to be learned.

Shouldn't the US government either prosecute them or release them? Indefinite detention without any representation or due process doesn't really jive with spreading freedom (you know, a God given right for every human being according to George) throughout the world.
