Well, the seond point applies to all companies yet iPod sales didn't suffer when you think that it's pretty much a luxury item that sells for approximately the price of a low end PC.

Your first point is one that has been going on forever. With the back to school iPod promo, the sales numbers of iBooks and PBooks was still down versus the previous qtr.

Btw, was there any mention of the preorder &/or backorder volume on the new iMac? I diddn't see any mention of it. Certainly, if the numbers were any good, Jobs would've taken the opportunity to harp it.
