Dude, the Republicans are using sexuality as a political tool... that's what the anti-gay-marriage amendment is.

I don't agree with you, but it is not the moral equivalent of this kind of offensive personal invasion of privacy. That you are supporting Kerry & Edwards' remarks makes you the same kind of hypocrite these jerks are.

The question was fair. It was Kerry's answer that was clearly, obviously inappropriate.

Nobody said there is. But Cheney's daughter's private life is no business of Kerry's, and certainly should NEVER have been brought up in the debate, UNLESS Kerry requested and received her prior authorization.

This would be analogous to Kerry saying, "I saw old Z out drunk and getting high at the bar last week". Now, Z may have been out drunk at the bar, and he may not have been hiding it, but that doesn't mean he wants to hear it on national TV. You would feel violated. I suspect she does, too.
