How can it be gossip? Its a fact........Cheney's daughter says she's gay; Cheney's wife says she's gay and Cheney says she's gay. Its not innuendo or rumor which is usually the basis of gossip, but a fact. Besides, you don't gossip with sixty million people at one time.

It may not have been gossip, but it was a totally unnecessary invasion of privacy. He could have made his point equally well without calling her out specifically, so why do it?

Would you think this scenario is fair game:

The debate question is about family values, Bush responds about the poor values you see in America today and in Hollywood. He then calls out Kerry's daughter for showing her boobs to the whole planet with that see-through dress she wore in Cannes.

Would that be fair game? I think not.
