Oh, I don't think it was well intended AT ALL.

And isn't it curious how that issue got raised in TWO CONSECUTIVE DEBATES? Funniest thing there.

You know what I remember? I remember Dems going into screaming rages every time someone said how ugly Chelsea is. Now if we accept your theory "that Mary was born a Lesbian and that is is not a choice as so many people beleive", I fail to see a difference.

If it was unacceptable to raise the matter of Chelsea looking like a horse, then this should be too.

So are a candidate's kids fair game or not?

The Bush daughters certainly have been.

kerry and edwards by design, chose to nominate Mary Cheney as the gay they would talk about. Why not mention two or three of the gay politicians who hold office along with her, or without mentioning her name? Pure and simple - it was trash politics by these two. About the same as gore's people accusing Bush just before the 2000 election of the murder of a black man who was dragged behind truck in Texas. Pure scum by the DNC and the candidates.
