Kerry was harshly criticized for contradicting Allawi regarding the Iraqi elections. What does Kerry know? Now it seems an influential Iraqi official has suggested that, well, um, no... elections might not be possible in January, despite what Bush and Allawi said. I don't wish for things to go wrong in Iraq. But I do demand straight talk from Bush. If the elections are dependent on the security situation in January, say so. Don't reassure me that security will improve and elections will be held - while every single news report suggests that security is decreasing, not increasing. And don't bother saying there is nothing going right in Iraq cuz there is. Did you know that there are democrats as well as republicans in the armed forces in Iraq? Do you realize they are both working towards the same goal?
