OK....

"Making the plaintiff jump through the proper hoops for a FOIA request isn't contesting the suit."

But OPPOSING the request is....

"You said there were two suits and Bush was contesting both of them. Hotly contested is the way I recall your description."

Pretty sure that I never said 'hotly' (because: how the hell would I know anything about the emotions of the principals?).

I did mention that I remember two different records suits in federal court, because I remember that some news articles about the AP suit over the summer referred in the articles to another (not AP) suit.

Presumably (just as we have today about the AP suit) we will in short order see references to the other....
