This is a copout.

No it's not, it's a fact.

Kerry's responsibility was not diminished by virtue of his position in the Senate. That is an absurd rationalization.

Kerry is one of one hundred Senatorial checks on Presidential power. Bush is the leader of the USA. Their responsibilities for leading the nation into war are NOT equal.

The analogy (again presented earlier) is a CEO convinces one of 50 department heads on a campaign that drives a corporation into bankruptcy. Both were wrong, but the CEO's responsibility for the mistake is obviously greater than the department head.

Kerry had just as much responsibility to do HIS job as Bush did to do HIS.

Of course, and their job responsibilties are different. There is a reason one is called the Commander in Chief, and the other is, well, one of 100 Senators.

You guys will stop at nothing.
