But this is not textbook deflation; rather, it is like no other deflation that has occurred before in human history Contradictions don't exist. If faced with a contradiction, check your premises. Root out the false one. Etc. Someone should tell that to these confused economists who see deflation and inflation, realize it is a contradiction, and say it's OK because they are... umm....
