I think Kerry was directly tracking OBL at Tora Bora. It'd certainly explain why he can't show up at the Senate to vote very often, and add credence to his war hero attempts at creating a war hero of himself, as of a war hero so heroically warring where no war hero before himself has been so heroically warring before. Then, on Bush's orders (so he could subvert the Election), a Secret Service agent got in the way of Kerry's $8000 special tracking bicycle --- no wait, that bicycle probably belongs to "the family", not Kerry. One fall led to another, and then OBL got away.

That's about as much sense as I can construe from the tenuous thread between the Kerry campaign and the American Spirit thumbnail sketch of mix-'n'-match reality. And, BTW, those horses were supplied by the CIA back in the 80s when we set up this whole scenario. It's a very .... eh, .... "complicated" .... scheme.
