The only time I've been to Sitka (May, 1995), I arrived on Alaska Air, departed from the fuel dock on a friend's 65' longliner for Seward.

If one lives in Sitka, it is not a good idea to piss off Alaska Airlines. They, for the most part, hold the keys to the town.

Yeah. But has anybody ever actually DONE it and lived to tell the tale?
