What I wonder is how Greenspan can reconcile his study of natural gas, his apparent inability to see bubbles except in hindsight, and his love for baths.

Debt bubble chronicle
As to 2005's debt issuance, Ford Motor Credit officials said they expect unsecured debt issuance, either to retail or to institutional investors, to range between $10 billion to $15 billion, and securitized debt ranging between $10 billion to $15 billion next year. The actual proportion of debt issued to retail and institutional investors, and the level of secured and unsecured debt will depend on prevailing market conditions, said Macdonald.

Ford Motor Credit had about $146 billion in consolidated debt outstanding at end-September, down from $159 billion at end-December. Overall, Ford MotorCredit expects its balance sheet to remain in the $171 billion to $175 billion range.
