You're probably right. That must explain the weird photos of lefties holding signs apologizing for Iraq. Bush won't apologize so they have to hold up these signs instead.

Someone posted earlier an essay explaining that people in politics don't usually apologize because public policy decisions always have up sides and down sides, so every thing you do causes problems for somebody. You just have to do the thing you think is most right. There will be consequences for some, and for some the consequences may be grave.

But there are also consequences for the alternative actions, and for inaction, too.
