I do think that SIRI's deal with Howard Stern will turn out to be a bargain for SIRI.

It is NOT a bargain. It MAY pay for itself over 5 years. But no way it is a "bargain".

It is reported that SIRI paid 3x what XM was willing to have paid for Stern. It is 15 months before Stern does his first show on SIRI, meanwhile, XM is growing its own talent with O&A, much less expensive, and probably profitable from the outset.
