never said Yukos CEO Khordokovsky is a prince of a man dont put words in my mouth, goomba Putin has put the screws to western oil companies inside Russia his disrespect for private property rights is expanding are you aware of the PanAm Silver case? probably not Putin helped create a new company to circumvent PanAm silver deposit rights when the dust cleared, PanAm was out of several $M in rights the list goes on, the pattern is clear before you launch on some mindless diatribe, try listening to what the Bushy State Dept warned about Putin and Russia just yesterday Russia is incredibly complex the USA Military is building a crescent of military bases in the Former Soviet "Stan" republics dont be naive yourself, mister the bases are to protect our oil interests in the Caspian and neighboring republics I continue to point out the heavy handed tactics used by Putin if Putin follows through in the noble fashion you seem to endorse, then the Russian state will take back 75-90% of all private property held inside Russia now the pattern is clear charge a big company with tax fraud freeze their assets limit their ability to continue to make debt payments proceed with criminal prosecution force a fire sale of their assets govt buys it up for 20-40 cents on the dollar do you see any pattern here? or are you simply getting angry in a public way for attention? what, in your wisdom, do you propose? / jim
