That's not what "we" did. It was the liberal policies that forced the market place in this direction. What Hillary proposed 10 years ago and the Clinton administration followed through with, caused this situation.

The idea that government should restrict what can be charged for vaccines is what caused this problem. With restrictions on profits, fewer companies were motivated to provide the products.

This is a perfect example of liberal policies tampering with the marketplace and in the end, resulting in harm to society. In the short run, prices were controlled. In the long run, there was a breakdown in the production of an important product. The people suffer as a result of liberalism manipulating what should be a free market.
