EURO-DOLLAR: Trading around $1.2775 area and has been slipping slightly, ever since NY traders walked in, one London-based player contends, speculating that perhaps early US players may be sitting short of the pair. Traders in London say euro has been active today with plenty of two-way chop, not just a one-way market that may be imagined from current levels. Trader says some profit-taking in the euro has been seen on the day, accounts that have ridden the euro rally taking a little bit of money off the table, but not much. Conversely, any dip in the pair has found new buyers, plenty of latecomers around looking to get on the dollar slide that appears to have lifetime highs at $1.2930, and beyond, in sight. Offers and stops seen around $1.2830 area of o/n highs. Further bids at $1.2740/50.
