TP, I remember all of the anti-war marches before the first Gulf War, that Saddam's battle-hardened army would turn Iraq into the "mother of all battles" and turn it into a quagmire.

The exact same predictions were made right before Dubya went in. Once again, those predictions turned out to be wrong, except for the parts about the lack of WMD and the difficulty of winning the peace. You're pretending that the anti-war movement was right all along, when the truth is that they're no more useful than a broken clock. Hence the second-guessing.
