Kerry's superlative fit-rep report for his heroism in Vietnam was written by Commander Elliot, who called him either the greatest hero or the scariest dude (my words) he's ever met. Elliot campaigned for JK for many years, then shockingly in 2004 was seen in the 1st smearvet ad. A day later he retracted his Smearvet claim and said it was a terrible mistake he made questioning a man's medals. He has been underground ever since. Money may have changed hands there.
