Ted, In what way wasn't it stable? After all, Saddam behaved for nearly 13 years. Sanctions, no-fly zones, oil-for-palaces, and Saddam thumbing his nose at the world. All contributing to the misery of the Iraqi people. And America get blamed for it. By the way, have you seen Team America yet? There was a funny part in the movie where "Sean Penn" was raving about how Iraq used to be such a rainbow-covered paradise until America came in.
