Prolife, RE: "moronic threads are"

I never use the word "moronic" because that's impolite, so please do not type "Regards AmyJ" after something that you wrote, because people might incorrectly think that I wrote it when you actually did. I prefer to be polite.

RE: Definition of a religious fanatic

That's a good question you ask. I believe a religious fanatic is not the same thing as a religious person.

A religious fanatic may have some elements of strong hate, intolerance, a desire to impose their will onto others, possibly a control problem, and a desire to hurt others while not realizing hurting people is not a religious thing to do.

There's an important distinction between catering to the religious individual versus catering to the religious fanatic. The Republican Party has lost sight of this distinction so have unfortunately mobilized a lot of religious fanatics that are filled with harm and hate. The Republican Party basically stuck their hands in a beehive by letting themselves get unduly influenced by a handful of religious fanatics. There needs to be separation of government and religion. There's a risk from religious fanatics.
