I think she's for soaking the rich even more, such as Prop. 63, a measure cleverly formulated so that if you're against it, you must be pro-millionnaire and anti mental-health.

Right, now we need Props. 101-199 to allocate the remaining 99% of incomes over $1 million to worthy objects we'd like others to pay for. The initiative process in California is truly broken.

You were talking about the secularization of our culture earlier. It suddenly dawned on me that that's inevitable. If you think back 100, 200, 300 years ago, religion was much more serious and ceremonial than it is now. When I was a child, we would dress up to go to church. The few times I have gone to church in the past couple of years most people are dressed very casually.......some in jeans. Secularization of the church as well as society is inevitable IMO.

An anecdotal observation: the most religious people on my street........three to be exact...all have Bush signs in front of their houses. BTW, all three came by with religious info and videos when I moved into the neighborhood.

Tenchusatsu, I think your post incorrectly assumes I would like someone else's tax to go up, rather than mine.

I am perfectly okay with my taxes going up, and believe others in my category would be too.

Rather than using 3rd person, you could try to talk to people directly and ask, rather than incorrectly assume.

Regards,
Amy J
