The gospels are so vague and contradictory they can be used to explain away or justify practically anything. We also don't hear Christians quoting the passage where Jesus said to a woman that he came not to save gentiles but the scattered tribes of Israel.

I suppose if the warm fuzzy enabling bits keep daytrader and gregoreeee off the streets we should be grateful. Their faith is so obviously tied to a self indulgent world without end it is more fear than faith.

"People do not need to earn justice. Justice is the natural right of people in civilized cultures."

There can only be natural rights if there is natural Law. I seem to remember that you deny the one but cling to the other. You may be comfortable with your feet planted firmly in mid air but I would not be.

"No rational person demands "grace", nor do they pay lip service to a phony justice which in reality is cruel and capricious, primitive, and vulgar."

What's phony about it. You do the crime you pay the time. You just don't like Laws that aren't centered on you and yours. You can and quite often should fight City, Hall, but only a fool would think they could replace God. You are in for a big shock at some point and you will have to admit that God's judgment is accurate and just.

As far as the throw as much mud as possible and hope some of it sticks: I can't possibly respond to the avalanche of nonsense that Dan Barker rattles off. If you have a specific verse you would like to discuss then that would be fine but all the stuff from evilbible.con is not worth my time. This stuff is on the same level that claims Jesus was a horse thief.

As far as unicorn go you continually mistake mockery for reasoned debate, but then your case is so weak I suppose that's all you have.
