Seems quite the opposite to me. Even if I were to take your side, I would find it prepostorous that we should expect the President of the USA to be aware of 1/10 of 1% of the munitions in Iraq. Bush doesnt MICROMANAGE, he leaves the details of fighting the war to the military where it belongs. He sets the policy and the tone after that its Tommy Franks and his peers to carry it out. And if you are blaming the military, that too is prepostorous as the amount of munitions looking at the total picture is quite small. Finally, to think that 38 trucks capable of carrying 10 tons each just drove up and emptied the munitions with US armed forces all over the area is also equally prepostorous. I think the most obvious conclusion is that it was NEVER THERE when the war began. jdn
