Look folks, I get it. All I am saying since before Phil wrote it: "I think Apple just missed the killer-app by leaving this [camera download capability] out of the basic design."

BTW, I never suggested a card slot would be a good solution. Others did. I suggested Apple missed the boat by not allowing for direct USB or Firewire connection to cameras. A solution that does not require additional or third party accessories like the Belkin card reader for the iPod, and should not bulk up the iPod, given what I suggested is not a hardware centric problem (being a software one instead).
