I am jewish. We never sit out elections or at least 80% of us never do. My dad is 86 and he will be taking my mom who is an alzheimers victim to the polls to vote for kerry. Hell, its in florida so who cares. But truth be told if my mom's mind was sound she would have insisted my dad do this in such a case. And she would be ripping me for being a bush supporter for so long. So i will vote because its my duty and i will suffer the consequences of guilt when the winner governs poorly--guilt is also a jewish thing. (g) mike
PS Last election i voted for gore, even though i despised him, because bush seemed too dumb to be president--the elitist in me. But in the aftermath i rooted for bush because i am a met/redsox fan. Same may happen this time--who knows. There are still four more days for me to change my swiss cheese mind. mike
