Yes, just like Stalin would never make a deal with Hitler because the Nazis were so anti- communist....although of course they did. It was a perfectly reasonable worry, at a minimum.

Ahmed Yassin, the engineer of the 1993 WTC bombing, was an Iraqi who fled back to Baghdad after the attack. No connection with terrorists?

Then there was the weapons and money Saddam supplied to the Palestinian terrorists...$25,000 to the family of each suicide bomber.
