been thinking about meat versus grain
my memory kicked in

it takes 16 units of grain to produce one unit of meat
perhaps it is pound for pound, or something reasonable

if so, take your 10:1 grain ratio to get 160:1 on meat

that makes more sense

FWIW, it takes aprox 7 pounds of grain to produce/grow 1 pound of beef or chicken. this is called the conversion ratio in the meat industry.
