Good reason. Anyways it's only coming on line end NEXT year or more likely it'll only start to have some effect in H106. Outsourcing part of the Semprons might turn out to be handy for the time in between. Your point is you don't see the opportunity; my point is I do see it as a possibility

I guess my point was not clear. AMD certainly has an opportunity to sell several million more chips per quarter since their move to 90nm will support it. I fully expect AMD to take advantage of that opportunity should the demand be there. I just don't believe the demand will be there to require more than what AMD can produce at 90nm right now. So, it would surprise me very much if a fab agreement with IBM happens any time soon. I'd be just as surprised if AMD does in fact sell several (2) million more chips in say quarter 1 next year vs say qtr 3 this year.
